Veteran singer, Chris Garrel has been a heavy metal fan since he was a kid.

As a fan, musician, journalist or promoter,
he took an active part in French metal scene for more than 30 years.   

He founded the band Dreamcatcher in Paris, in 2001.
Recorded in 2006, their self-produced four tracks EP Dreamcatcher
was critically acclaimed by the press in France and abroad.

Current line-up, which remained the same since 2008, is
Chris on vocals, Denver and Geoff on guitars, Rado on bass and Nico on drums.

 

 

The band draws inspiration from
Iron Maiden, Megadeth or Iced Earth and has created is own sound, developing its own originality.

Dreamcatcher is a band which plays heavy metal, but this a damn aggressive one.
A bit like the US heavy and power metal bands, they play a nice mix of heavy and thrash metal, and even if it's melodic of course, we're always able to find strong loud riffs and rhythms.
All this is accompanied by some excellent vocals and great guitars soli.
The compositions are so powerful and interesting that you'll emerge into their world,
forget everything else and bang your heads off!
